I'm noticing a pattern here.
So, I'm into a lot of fandoms. I've LOVE Harry Potter, I always get a hoot out of Star Wars, and I'm currently reading the Interference Cycle. Here's something they all have in common: THE AWESOME BADASS OLD GUY ALWAYS DIE! Dumbledore, Obi-Wan, and now Brom! Why is that?
I mean, yeah, we have shows like Merlin when the old guy actually stays alive (From as much as I've seen) but that's the only one I can name!
Let me know if I'm missing something or if there's a different series where the awesome old guys lives, 'cause I wanna know if this is a real pattern or not.
